August 4, 2021 - Saperavi is a huge hit (the sparklers are stunning as well ) in the Finger Lakes and here is another example. This may be my favorite rose' of all time. Medium- cherry red, about the same as many pinots. Intense (for a rose') tart cherry aroma with other earthy highlights. The palate is also intense for a rose' with bright red fruits. The freshness of the acidity for an almost-red-wine offers the wines most salient quality with some tannin on the extended finish.
