January 11, 2021 - Not as good after another couple years of aging. Fruit and elegance has gone and tastes more dry, uneven and austere but overall still enjoyable, especially for the price. Had a couple of bottles with same outcome
July 8, 2020 - Good wine at any price, added bonus that this one is so cheap.
June 22, 2020 - Deep crimson; blackberries, prunes, black cherries, gravel, graphite, wood smoke; ripe berry, plummy, slick, medium body, good acidity, firm ripe tannins, nice finish.
Nicely balanced and elegant with good minerality and structure. As good as bottles twice this price, will buy again.
May 16, 2020 - This held up over 2 days. Earthy with a little fruit. Excellent QPR.
March 15, 2020 - Very tannic with some acidity. Solid effort. Glad I bought 6. At this rate they’ll be gone by May
February 24, 2020 - Excellent QPR. Very tasty, it was gone real fast.
February 10, 2020 - Classic Right Bank Merlot. Earthy and dry, with tannin, toasty oak, pepper and subtle red fruit. While this will probably age well for the next 2-3 years, it’s certainly drinking well now, particularly if you like a medium/full bodied and dry Bordeaux.
January 23, 2020 - Great qpr. Earthy with some fruit in the background.
January 8, 2020 - Archetypal Merlot, unbelievable QPR. Very tannic and definitely calls for a couple more years of bottle age.
January 8, 2020 - Focused currant and toast nose. Good weight and focus with bright acidity; good length.
