August 24, 2023 - Tar, leather, currant, licorice, mushrooms, and vanilla oak. I also get some dustiness and wet stones. This seems to be a more modern style—I get less CC typicity, except on the finish, it still tastes like Chianti. This is a nice wine and very polished, though I found it a little too plush for a Chianti.
