October 23, 2021 - Opened 2 hours before dinner. Started to open up nicely in the glass towards the middle of the meal.

September 24, 2021 - In a great spot right now, but wouldn't hold for more than another year or so.

Good structure, lively acidity, pleasant tannic grip on the back end. Fruit is obviously less primary, but still juicy and tart, somewhat reminiscent of Gushers fruit snacks. Pleasantly earthy, with a tiny hint of funk. No decant needed, just aerate in glass.

Killer bottle, considering I paid like $30 for it in 2009 or 2010.

April 5, 2021 - Such an interesting wine at the 15-year mark and much better than when I consumed some closer to release. With age it has developed a dusty quality with dry tannins and a more concentrated palate with more piercing flavors of cherry and spice.

March 14, 2021 - Last bottle of six, and the first one to be really good.
