March 15, 2024 - As always an underdog of a wine and frankly ( much like this time at Courchevel of all places) underpriced in many lists. Definitely a r ichr, more evolved, very much mad win the goutte Anglaise style with the fuller feel and definitely this is a proper crowd pleaser but in a nice way . Very proper. 93

October 6, 2021 - A very good wine but starting to show some signs of oxidation. Today it was less krug-like and more grower with a touch of selosse-style on the finish. Drink now and enjoy.

August 25, 2021 - Pronounced nose intensity with notes of yeasty, toasty, baked apple and pear. Medium+ acidity. Drank from magnum, make specially for Waku Ghin. This bottle is excellent. Probably one of the best Fut De Chene I drank before. At its optimum drinking window. With base wine of 2007.

December 21, 2019 - Two bottles in two days, last one form my own cellar. Definitely advanced quite a bit last 9 months. Felt both bottles were the least performing of the 6-7 I have tasted. Unfortunately the fruit is not holing up sufficiently to balance the sherry notes that have emerged lately. Lacks tension also and picking up some imbalance. First bottle was 89-90, second 91p imo. Happy to have finished majority of them in time.

August 26, 2019 - Paired with Japanese food. Selosse Exquise was yeasty, oxidative style, honey, ripe white food.

A distinctive difference as compared to the 2008 Dom which is fresh, high acidity, bread and Henri Giraud MV07 which exhibit cedar, toast, flora.

Personal preference ranked Selosse first, Giraud MV07 then DOM2008.
