July 21, 2023 - Nose: sweet cassis, hint of smokey sweet dung. Palate: nicely balanced; cherry liqueur; fine grained tannins are nicely integrated with a dark wood astringency; lacks some acidity; the finish has some bitter heat that's a bit distracting. I'm impressed at how well balanced this is for 15% ABV.
