Community Tasting Notes 2

January 4, 2022 - Riper fruit and lower acidity than I recall the 2015 being at this stage. Still the purity of the fruit kicks it a notch above last years. Simultaneously ripe and leathery red cherry dominate with sweet rose, dried herbs, cedar and mineral. Some light funk and damp soil on the back end. Medium bodied brown/red color with the palate being higher intensity. Drink well now but suspect needs 5-10 years.
