Community Tasting Notes 5

July 25, 2023 - Balanced and beautiful. Wonderful now, could go another 5+ years with ease.

January 28, 2023 - Well made. Needed 30-45minutes to hit its stride. Not particularly Graves-inspired despite the name. Medium polished tannins. Fruit balanced well with acid. Could have another 5-7 years of upside. Excellent example of Washington State's expression of Bordeaux blends.

July 22, 2020 - Deep, dark reddish-purple in color, bordering on opaque. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & cassis with lovely overtones of earthy/dusty notes, spice & herbal notes, minerals & a slight hint of vanilla/oak in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blueberries & plums with herbs, spices, minerals, slight hint of oak & vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but should continue to develop further with additional aging. The blend is 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot & 11% Cabernet Franc. Very good QPR especially when found at discount.

April 25, 2020 - Young, and the oak is unintegrated. Three to five years should reveal a full and balanced wine. Quality fruit, well made.

January 5, 2020 - Obviously still a youngster, just wanted to pop one open. 1/2 hour decant. Has all the makings of a very nice wine. Will try to wait six months before opening another but that probably won't happen.
