May 7, 2021 - Delightful, brimming with light strawberry and cherry fruit with a bit of spritz. All tasters thought this was a Cali rose. Mighty impressive for Loire. Good acidity - went very well with ham!

January 25, 2020 - Winebar [1 Rosé, 3 Whites, 8 Reds, & 7 *shared* bottles] from 01/24/20 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): “From 30-35 yr old vines planted on the clay-limestone soils of Sainte Gemme, a small village located in the heart of the Centre-Loire area; Traditional vinification with low temp fermentation & maturation on fine lees in tank;”

N: FLOWERS atop minerals with notes of minerals

P: Med body; Very RNDISH entr with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) met by a LOVELY acidity that keeps things in check into & through the LONG, BALANCED, TANGY/swt finish. A versatile style POSS *slightly* better as a quaff than with food. For now & probably through '21. My EXC-/EXC; 91 pts Vinous (Raynolds, 8/1/19) & 88 WE (10/1/19) @ $20. [Check with this vendor if interested in their competitive pricing.]

October 12, 2019 - Winebar [1 Rosé, 3 Whites, 8 Reds, & 7 *shared* bottles] from 10/11/19 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): “From 30-35 yr old vines planted on the clay-limestone soils of Sainte Gemme, a small village located in the heart of the Centre-Loire area; Traditional vinification with low temp fermentation & maturation on fine lees in tank;”

N: Closed; Grapey slightly atop minerals with hints of oranges?

P: Med, poss LM, body; Rndish entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish, applish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) met by a crisp acidity which directs the package into & through the LONG, balanced, tangy/swt finish. Nicely done in a versatile style for now & through '21. My EXC-; 91 pts Vinous (Raynolds). [Check with this vendor if interested in their competitive pricing.]

September 14, 2019 - Winebar [2 Rosés, 2 Whts, & 8 Reds] from 09/13/19 + 8 Shared Bottles (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): “From 30-35 yr old vines planted on the clay-limestone soils of Sainte Gemme, a small village located in the heart of the Centre-Loire area; Traditional vinification with low temp fermentation & maturation on fine lees in tank;”

N: Fragrant flowers slightly atop grapes with notes of minerals

P: Med body; Very RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) counterbalanced by an acidity which IS the face of this into & through the LONG, balanced finish with OCCASIONAL hints of raisins to its tangy/swtness. Primarily a quaff, but should also work with lighter fare for now & into '21. My VG+/EXC-; 91 pts Vinous (Raynolds). [Check with this vendor if interested in their competitive pricing.]

August 24, 2019 - Spicy, fresh, floral, white cherries and tangy strawberries. A bit light, but lots of fun.
