August 29, 2023 - 2nd of 12, opened 45 minutes, perfect cork and level, seemed better than previous bottle with none of the hollow mid noted afore, I suspect this has rather more to it than I thought, 15+ years. At least VGI (17).

August 5, 2023 - Similar like last note from a quality perspective.
Still fresh, primary notes of sour cherries and slight orange zest. More mature, earthy notes intermingle.
Nothing wrong with this Gevry, probably not the most powerful burgundy but precise and long.

April 23, 2023 - In line with previous bottle.

March 25, 2023 - 1st of 12, decanted 2 hours, perfect level, cork quarter worked - darkish, transparent ruby, some lightening on rim; red fruit, some spice and meat; medium bodied, ok length and persistence, slightly hollow mid palate and angular, should round out though, drinkable with pleasure but adolescent, upside, 15+ years. VG+ (16.5).

November 26, 2022 - Slightly cloudy, with a watery rim. The colour is not the bright hue of youth but the toned down more mature version. Typical Gevrey-Chambertin nose with oriental spices, earth and a fruit that in flashes says fresh raspberry. The stand out feature, however, is the depth of fruit and the way it follows on through the latter part of the taste curve. Lovely depth, and a wine I'm willing to call 'outstanding.' The previous bottle earlier this year was still not quite 'there', but this one has arrived.
