September 1, 2020 - awkward when first opening but it comes together with air and really blossoms, the nose pops with floral, berry and meaty aromas, velvety mouthfeel, concentrated and quite complex even, shows raspberry, dried cherry, dried plum, smoke, meat juices and currant paste, quite savory, nicely round and totally delicious

May 12, 2020 - What a beautiful surprise! Reductive aromas straight from opening, but it evolves into a really nice bowl of aromas after a couple of hours in the decanter. Lots of fresh berries on the nose - red cherries, raspberries, pomegranate. I also find a really enticing perfumed scent, red flowers, wet stones and a hint of pine. Good concentration, medium plus acidity, medium plus tannins, really nice and fresh juice, great balance and a fruity and surprisingly long finish. My first encounter with this wine, but defintely not the last. Great qpr!
