December 5, 2022 - Savages Dinner (67 Pall Mall, London): Attention here not to overchill the wine cause it robs away the complexity.
A young Dom but a Dom nonetheless , with laser like focus, minerality effortless elegance. Bright and a bit sharp at this "youthful" age but still with all the hallmarks of beauty that comes with the pedigree. 94 for now but with lots of potential and easily with 2 decades of life in it.

December 3, 2022 - medium yellow color, this is developing quite nicely in bottle, lovely nose of pure apple and honeysuckle, on the palate still young and vibrant, overall softer than a top year but in terms of elements this is still a complete Dom Perignon roasted walnuts, ripe young fruit, not creaming yet but definitely a bit more open than it was last year, orange peel and mineral zest on a finish of great length, a truly fine and unusually floral Dom Perignon, even though it is more open already- it is also showing longer term potential than I originally thought and I would now lock this one away for a few years.

November 12, 2022 - Tiny bubbles burst in your mouth! Caviar and champagne works for a reason. This was perfect.

October 25, 2022 - DP 2004 P2 Release party (maybe the third one?) (Caviar Russe): From a magnum. One of the folks at the tasting asked why this bottle might be so different than the one they'd tried over the summer that they didn't quite like and Vincent was quite to say magnum. It is almost always better out of large format. Drinks well. Light and crisp and a bit of brioche.
