August 14, 2023 - Still excellent. But definitely on the decline
Age has treated this wine well. Exudes understated elegance. Subtle tannins. Fruit is still there with notes of plum, blueberries and tobacco. Last bottle of 04. Have 05 and 06 left and will drink them soon. -

Light nose. Light chalk and leather and tobacco. Light fruity cassis. Integrated body but I think on the downside of its peak
Drinking nicely but I wouldn’t leave too much longer.
Even ignoring scores. My wine of the night to just relax and enjoy gracefully.

August 11, 2019 - Deep garnet. Aromas of cherry pipe tobacco. Mature red fruit, especially raspberry. Medium acidity, and a slight peppery finish. Still drinking well, though it has lost a bit of the punch it had from the first bottle opened a couple of years ago. Drinking slightly chilled seems to help concentrate the flavors nicely.

January 29, 2017 - This one is drinking beautifully for me right now. It was my last bottle, and the best. I was concerned from the comments it would be over the hill. I stored it impeccably however, and followed Annerk's advice to pop and pour. The tannis are tamed and the floral notes are popping. I do not suspect it is going to get any better, I suggest drink up!
