October 13, 2019 - Decanted for 30 minutes, making this wine much more open than the previous 2 bottles tasted without a decant first.

Consistent with previous bottle. PnP. Dark ruby in color, this wine (90% Tinto Fino a/k/a Tempranillo/10% Cabernet Sauvignon) showed saddle leather, tea leaves, violet and dusty earth on the nose. The mouth feel brought heavy tannins, blackberry and bitter cherry. The finish was firm but elegant. 13.50% abv.

Purchased for $30US, this wine has sexy complexity that is drinking well now and has the guts for further aging.

Imported by Think Global Wines, Santa Barbara, CA.
