January 21, 2021 - Poggio Di Guardia 2016- floral and spices cabinet nose. Full body coats your tongue immediately. Definitely dry start to finish. Medium Tannin in the finish. It truly coats your tongue. Paired with tasty, spicy vegetable stew. A bit on sweetness shows with this pairing. It’s a long finish. It’s drinking well now or later. Will wait couple more years to try another. 8/10

June 6, 2020 - Blind, deep ruby, flintstones, berries, mocha, incredibly rich, thick and full bodied, mouth coating never ending finish. This wine is a monster, not sure what it is but buy if priced right as it will hold 2 decades. Priced $63 CAD, yes buy and buy now before they fly off the shelves.
