Community Tasting Notes 6

  • La Cave d'Argent Likes this wine: 92 points

November 10, 2021 - Medium-to-deep ruby in color, this Pinot offers lots of up-front fruit that is backed up with significant structure. Flaunting aromas of dried cranberries, red bramble fruits, savory herbs, and Asian spices, it is a medium-bodied, softly oaked wine with fresh acidity, well-integrated alcohol (13.2%) and medium sweet tannins. The flavors mirror the nose and the mid-palate is dense. Long and layered on the back end, this vineyard blend is synergy in a bottle. Enjoy it over the next five years. Drink now-2026.

August 18, 2021 - Subtle. Strong taste at first, some bite fit a Pinot, but easy drinking.

    February 13, 2021 - Average - a little syrupy

May 17, 2020 - Cherry, boysenberry, floral, spice. Had with lamb, so a nice match

November 2, 2019 - Approachable and drinkable upon release, this Pinot is focused and bright with aromatics of raspberry, anise, and strawberry jam. The palate is seamless with ripe cherry, plum, and a hint of red curry building to a finish with focus and finesse.
