October 1, 2021 - A consistent pleasure in line with last visits. Chianti characteristics of good acidity, punching red fruits rounded off with a veil of oak. Good balance and gaining complexity. Mocca/chocolate tones, grippy tannines which are getting softer and a medium + finish.

This wine will last and get even more interesting.

September 10, 2021 - Net weet een pizza in elkaar gezet dus snel mijn favoriete Chianti weer gepakt. Zoals altijd heerlijk zuurtje, zwart fruit (bramen en pruimen). Prima tannine. En het belangrijkste, zo lekker bij de pizza. @Pratorius/€9,81.

August 24, 2021 - The best Nipozzano I have ever had! Typical aromas of floorpolish, hay, earth, blackberries, iron, minerals, and cherries. Its medium bodied solid but multi dimensional black, red and earth palate has got good oak and nice freshness. Finishes mediumish, fresh and tapering. 13%. Excellent value at 17 Euros. A characterful wine! Lay down 5/10 years+. Improves with 90 mins aeration. Had with Spaghetti Bolognese and it was a good match.

July 27, 2021 - Consistently delicious. This hovers between traditional and modern styles. Always good value especially in great vintages like 2016. Earthy profile with maraschino cherry, vanilla oak, graphite and a hint of black olives. Medium bodied with ample acidity on the back end. Integrated but dry tannin that lingers. Finishes with a hint of sandalwood and tart bright red berries. Smooth and pretty well balanced. Drink now-2026.
