September 27, 2023 - Colore oro rosa. Si fatica a giudicare perché è veramente molto chiaro e su toni gialli: il rosato è più una sfumatura che una dominante. Bollicina fine numerosa e spumosa. Naso maturo di lamponi, frutti rossi, mela e mandarino, poi tostato, burro con sottofondo terziario. Struttura e vinositá, poche asperità e una bella lunghezza. Bella bottiglia. Anche se il prezzo è davvero importante.

January 30, 2020 - 2004 champagne horizontal (110 Taillevent London): I don't like Pommery. Reminded why. For a prestige cuvee unacceptable. Rose is almost colourless. Easy to spot. But that of course is not the issue. The palate is just so unexciting that if it was a generic NV it would just about pass. But prestige cuvee in a good vintage? Nahhh...
