January 12, 2022 - This is drinking well atm though this has a long life ahead. Tannins present but refined. Dark cherry, dried cherry, florals, cloves, licorice, and leather on the nose - really beautiful. Smooth mouthfeel, acidity in check, medium body, medium finish, no noticeable alcohol- a very balanced and well made wine, will let the others sleep a bit.

August 28, 2021 - Nice dark garnet color, 14% ABV. Opened the bottle and left it open for one hour, no formal decanting. Nose of cherries and black olives - it’s almost unctuous. The palate shows freshness with raspberries and red currants to complement the vibrant acidity which already balanced out the dusty tannins in what is a long ending characterized by tobacco, a bit of oak, and some spice. Unexpectedly excellent!
