April 20, 2024 - We are big Martinelli fans and this one is an example of why... big and full, but super smooth, fully ripe and a pleasure to drink. A wine for real Zin lovers :)
December 29, 2023 - Last bottle. This has been a great wine. Still drinking very well.
November 11, 2023 - Lighter color for a Zin. Tons of berry and rhubarb on the nose, with a hint of spice. Blackberries and strawberries on the palate, with notes of cardamom and vanilla. Clings to the glass, but finishes a tad short. This might be one of the biggest still wines I’ve ever had at 16.6% ABV, but it doesn’t seem that high. Drink now or hold for another 3+ years.

April 18, 2021 - Big, fruity, a bit jammy, full flavor. What I would expect from a Zin. Can go a lot longer which might mellow it a bit, which would be ok too
March 5, 2021 - Dense nose of black cherry and plum - a bit of blueberry in there as well; palate almost an exact mirror, but throw in a bit of stewed rhubarb; oak present on the long finish but mixes in with the acid from the rhubarb; warms up everything with a 16% weigh in. 2017 is drinking well right now, really excellent 93-94
October 7, 2020 - Lovely. Bold fruit and full of allspice.
March 28, 2020 - I had a bottle of this a few months ago and enjoyed it. Not sure if this bottle was bad..... lots of cigar tastes, no smoothness..... but didn't taste bad, if that makes sense. No matter, I didn't are for it. We have one more bottle - hope that one is better
March 18, 2020 - Fruity and full. Still young. Very heady
March 17, 2020 - Hint of pepper. Strawberry and spice. Drinks well even if this young.
