March 30, 2024 - 14.5% ABV Enjoying the NCAA basketball tournament with a Henry family gathering for Easter. One of my favorite wines. I always look forward to my next glass of Scherrer Vineyard Cab. Especially one with at least 5 years of shelf life. Fred recently stated that the sweet spot for him was drinking a Scherrer Vineyard cab with 10-20 years of age, this wine came close. I agree with you Fred, this is in a great place right now. Nice aromatics, great mouth feel. Yum!

February 7, 2020 - Young Cab that is drinking well now. Cherries, chocolate, and herbs. Good acids supporting the ripe fruit. Soft tannins.

January 16, 2020 - Flickinger Customer Appreciation Tasting (Casino Club - Chicago IL): Walk around tasting. Plum and cassis with roasted meat, good depth and balance. Another very charming and good value wine.
