July 10, 2012 - The wife liked it. I thought it was passed its prime, beginning to turn sour. There were some great aromas and flavors left though. Dried fig and rosemary were my favorites. We did finish so not too bad.

May 23, 2010 - Opened for 30 minutes prior to drinking. Very nice wine that has aged well. Balanced with flavors of blackberries, green vegetables and soft oak notes. Soft tannins and low acidity. Enjoyed over the night and got better.

February 28, 2010 - Wine Club: Spain (Bowling Green, OH): Truly interesting! Green olive bomb. I'll say it - there are some downright green flavors here, but I'm not afraid of that.

May 3, 2009 - Judgement de Upp Bukit Timah (Nooks Cafe): Leathery with loads of spices and black pepper! This reminds me of a Pauillac! I get the beautiful aromas of pig organ soup. Lovely nice nose. Lightish red currant fruits and spicy small red berries. A wine of finesse. This was as good as I remembered it to be. Good stuff.

December 13, 2008 - First Tasting @ Giron (NK's Home): Lovely sharp and focused fragrance of violets, sauerkraut with underlying beefyness....wait make it black pepper beef! Also got some chinese five spice. Very interesting nose. Spice-driven but also showing lovely ripe bright cherries, hawthone berries. Got some herb on the finish with hallucinations of orange peels as well. Definitely a feminine wine. It was a welcome change to the mostly more masculine wines tasted prior to this.
