January 3, 2023 - Pop and pour. Really enjoyed the pairing with the winter soup. Fresh and lively on the nose with red currant and snappy red fruits. Cool impression in the mouth with a great texture and nice acid.

December 27, 2022 - Fresh, perfumed, overtly red. Light grip day 1. Good structure, lingering juicy finish. Seems like some Grenache is in the mix. Glad for the recent reviews which prompted my sampling. What a pleasure.
Day 2 sees further integration which sends the tart cherry & raspberry liqueur wafting higher. Judicious use of oak, deft balance. Wish I had several more. This might add savory notes with aging but I’ll be back sooner for the vibrant, well rendered fruit. Great pair with companion dishes. 1 of 23 people found this helpful Comment -

December 25, 2022 - Nice red with lower acidity than i would have expected from Santa Clara, and to me the Carignane in this wine is the star. Less Zinfandel spice and more straightforward in style. As a previous review stated, leather and red fruits....ideal with spicy rice and Andouille.
