December 18, 2020 - Friday evening at Bishan. Tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of whole bunch spice, herbs, red fruits. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), rough medium tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of wjhole bunch spice, dark red cherries, wild berries. Long finish.
Good quality. Tannins still feel like they need more time to smoothen. Fruit substance is good, albeit a bit simple. Initially I was guessing a serious Bojo cru or maybe a New World Pinot Noir masquerade. Turns out to be Maison Dujac MSD village in 2005. Explains some.

    September 24, 2019 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -nearly semi-translucent dark red
-low key plum faint mature element
-med/med- acidity, med/med+ weight sumptuous faded plum well-countered by a sophisticated earthiness, med tannins and a whisper of wood as it finishes with good length
-another example of the generosity of the vintage though not terribly complex in keeping with hierarchy, very good now and perhaps a bit of upside still

August 16, 2019 - Half-soaked cork (pictured) for a bottle that has been lying down in my cellar since its purchase back in 2008.
Aromatically mixes notes of rainfed plants such as rosemary or hawthorn flower along with a fleshy character and metallic and cigar box touches. An improper complexity for a generic wine. On the palate, the acidity in both the entrance and the throat still stands out. Soft and accessible as almost all Morey wines but very short and in need of red meat to really shine. Also consider an undeniable masculine elegance plus a silky touch, both aspects are very Dujac indeed. Rich modern style yet quaffable at the same time. Drink or hold? Your taste will decide. My Gevrey and Chambolle generic bottles are going to sleep a few years more for sure. Just afraid for the convenient cork's adjustment.

November 9, 2018 - Red and black fruits. Quite rustic on the nose. Just a touch of Dujac's reductive notes. Medium-minus body and medium-plus acidity. Nice drinking now.

October 6, 2018 - deep dark burgundy red, little clarity, ruby hue
Nose: cassis, raspberry, dark chocolate, earth, silver, spices, herbs, oak
Pal: raspberry, cassis, chocolate, chalk, earth, minerals, silver, herbs, tarragon, oak
    Feel: medium, full, savory, acidic
    Finish: medium
    T8 (could be a 9)
