March 30, 2023 - This was very nice with strip steak, but this presents as a very modern interpretation of Cote Rotie. It doesn't have much of the savage character that I like in aged syrah, and it comes across as very polished with too much vanilla and spice.

July 19, 2020 - Decanted an hour before drinking. Dark purple in appearance with the first signs of age appearing on the rim. Dark fruits with a touch of vanilla and spice on the nose. There is still plenty of fruit on the palate but also secondary flavours and with time in the glass a medicinal flavour which is very pleasant. This wine is very well balanced and is lovely and smooth on the palate. Absolutely delicious and still has plenty of time left.

November 12, 2017 - Dark fruit, white pepper and other spices and a whiff of smokey sausage. On the palate nice fruit, good acidity levels and well integrated soft tannin which gives the whole a certain elegance and a very good balance. Overall better than expected. Fabulous wine! This drinks very well now and another 3-5 years.
