July 17, 2021 - Drinking good. All perfect for age. Just opened. Little thin but will probably put up some viscosity with binding with O2. Nose beautiful and perfume of both Pomerol and St. Emillion. Pomerol is more ascendant. Nose is accurate and precise. Beautiful. Can’t wait to see how this will develop over the days.
Nice acidity, so I predict it can age longer five years or more.
Leather and meat and super sexy. Autumnal spices.
Has the nice ascendancy of dark side power.

July 8, 2021 - Medium tawny color. Plum, oak, prunes, pepper and smoke on the nose. Round and fruity on the palate with a nice finish.

September 29, 2020 - Showing some age but not ‘over the hill’. Tannins are fully integrated and there is still pleasant red fruits present

March 23, 2020 - A little over the hill. Dusty fruit

January 2, 2020 - Popped and poured. Black-purple opaque colour.... trending to semi-transparent. Nose is reticent and a bit thin.... this is OK mid-tier Bordeaux but nothing more. Palate is quite nice medium to thin-bodied bramble fruit and some blackberry seeds tannin on the finish. No length. A bit unfair because it was preceded by Dunn Howell Mountain 1986 and Pichon Lalande 2000 which somewhat overshadowed it. Not bad but....it took 3 hours to get to 88-89. To be fair, it nearly deserved 89 in the end whilst watching ‘Two Popes’.
