June 3, 2011 - Very nice soft cherry, black cherry, sweet tannins. Medium bodied, velvety texture.

April 12, 2009 - Very nice pairing with Thai food, light, fruity, nice balance decent acid and cherry flavors. I really enjoyed it.

June 17, 2008 - Something of a curiosity; about what I might guess Gamay grown in the Loire might taste like. On my first taste, I thought this was shockingly good. Poured half into a half bottle for later and left the rest for dinner in a few hours. At dinner, the wine ended up too warm and was simple, hot, and generally out of balance. Today at cellar temps, this is certainly better, with red fruits, minerallity, and a slight herbal note. Plenty of acid, but the whole thing walked a tight rope of balance very wobbly. In the end, this is about the quality level of a cru Beaujolais, and at $16 is a good value. But, I'd rather have a cote de Brouilly instead...
