March 26, 2009 - Good everyday pinot, lots of crisp fruit but not a lot of complexities. I would buy again
September 28, 2008 - bright cherry, well balanced acids, light-med bodied. well enjoyed by the group. did not decant.
June 13, 2008 - Light red color. Cherry and rhubarb on the nose -- a pleasant nose but not exciting. Strawberry jam on the palate. Nice amount of acid, well integrated tannins. Relatively short finish.
February 24, 2008 - Delicious and all around enjoyable. Lots of berry on the nose- raspberry, blueberry, plums, anything dark and fruity. The taste is very solid, with the berries showing their true strength. I would buy again, and for this price, its a no-brainer!
January 26, 2008 - I've been struggling with Cali Pinot for a while. Had a couple of disasters which have been documented in this forum. This baby really came through for me. It's what would be called entry level I guess, at 20 bones, but it brought the thunder.
beautiful medium dark color.
Tons of red currant strawberry jam all day long.
Great mouth feel, quite robust, perfect balance and nice smooth long finish.
January 8, 2008 - Very nice light to medium bodied pinot, cherry skittles and creamy vanilla flavors with a hint of spice on the finish. Compared to other pinot's that are 2-3 times the price, this wine's qpr is off the charts.
October 20, 2007 - Opened the bottle and let sit for 2 hours before pouring a glass, did not decant.
Initially the wine had a 'fake' cherry smell on the nose, although by the third glass that blew off. At that point the wine had a cherry cough medicine smell.
On the palate the wine was nicer, but very simple. Cherries and spice, with some heat. Not bad, but I couldn't get past the nose. Wouldn't buy again.

May 8, 2007 - Nose of dark cherries, chocolate and spice shows some heat. Palate has medium bodied, silky fruits. More chocolate-covered-cherries on the persistent and heady mid-palate. Medium-length finish again shows some heat. A very solid Cali Pinot for the price point. Lacks complexity, but shows the variety in a fun easy-drinking style. (4+13+15+7=89).
April 29, 2007 - Nice...customary fruit but with spice and herb notes. I liked it.
