  September 16, 2021 - Ripe Napa cab made in typical mike smith style. Not overly extracted but certainly ripe and sweet with nice blackberry notes and some milk chocolate notes. This is interesting as it’s stayed at the same level for over 24 hours and it was heavily decanted.

  July 9, 2020 - This wine has it all. Wafting aromas of blackberry, blueberry, cassis and tobacco. Inky dark purple and full bodied. Fat dark fruits. Round, soft tannins with an explosion of acidity on the finish. Delicious.

  May 29, 2020 - PnP and then two hours in the decanter. I am not as found of this wine as others- as much as I want to be. Super dark fruits- dark cherry, blackberries/cassis which is great but it is powered on the attack by a full frontal vanilla and then more vanilla and then more vanilla. This has the surrounding elements of herbal undertone and on paper would meld to what we would all want but is still very disjointed.
  
  One more left in the cellar and then a 3 pack of 2016s.
