September 14, 2023 - Didn’t realize I had this a mere six months ago. Meant to wait longer between bottles. Sorry, not sorry.
Still lots of black fruit on the nose and palate, but definitely some more tobacco, cedar, and leather starting to show through. Even with a lot of restraint I’ll probably drink all of my bottles before this hits its peak. -

March 18, 2023 - This wine just keeps getting better. Strong red fruit, baking spice, and maybe a bit of cedar. Built for the long haul. At least 10 years left.

December 12, 2021 - Blackberry and baking spice on the noose, with some oak and hints of leather. Similar flavors, with the fruit and spice competing for prominence, with the result being superb balance. Big bodied, smooth and firm tannins, long finish.

January 15, 2021 - Similar notes to last time. Cassis and blackberry with leather, spice, and tobacco. Velvety tannins, big body, long finish.
