February 3, 2024 - Color leaning toward purple, and soft across the palate. Black cherry fruit, and some notes of cranberry. Some cola and a little oak on the back end. Short finish. Overall a little muted, like it’s 15 years old instead of 5.

December 9, 2023 - I expected more but this single vineyard was not as good as their PN area wines. There were a slight bit of PN notes, cola, fruit but very thin and watery. Nose was nothing. I decided to open it after I read the other reviews and a bit surprised.

June 18, 2023 - Cargasacchi is one of the best vineyards for Pinot in CA. It is always rich and powerful. Dark red fruits dominate. Loring does a great job with it and my favorite single vineyard. Very approachable and drinking great. PNP. The nice thing is you can drink it by itself before dinner which is what we did. Very solid. Typical vanilla, Oak and ripeness but smooth and easy to drink.

June 1, 2023 - Soft and juicy with lots of red and black cherry fruit. Light tannins and medium acidity. Fresh and long finish, with a little bit of complexity. Excellent juicy soft Loring pinot.

September 23, 2022 - PnP. Looks like clear cherry juice. Fairly mellow. Cherries moving into cranberries on the finish. Maybe needs some air.
    Fills out nicely overnight. (89…91)
