July 26, 2019 - Cotes de Bordeaux Trip; 7/23/2019-7/27/2019: Rich nose of plums, currants, violets and coffee. Full-bodied, suave, dark cherries and rich currant fruit. Violets, coffee, interesting clay, leather and pepper notes. Showing great freshness (a hallmark of the 2016 vintage) but this is a deep, age-worthy wine with undertones of rocks, earth and minerals. 100% Merlot.
