March 15, 2022 - Similar notes to before, but this bottle is better. No raisiny character. Popped and poured. Classic Bordeaux nose: cedar, leather and tobacco on the nose. Palate is well-balanced. Medium finish. Better with food than alone.
December 19, 2021 - Very smooth and resolved tannins, Blackberry, cassis, mushroom, forest floor.
November 3, 2021 - Liked this more this time than the previous times I've drank it. Still got life and tannins. Still somewhat bold and dry.
October 19, 2021 - Straight -forward/pleasant. Popped and poured. Slightly raisinated. Mostly stewed fruits on the nose. Medium minus acidity. Low tannins. Less secondary and tertiary flavors and aromas . A good mid-week choice but not overly complex
October 14, 2021 - Somewhat disappointed in this 22 year old Right Bank Bordeaux. Color only showed a little sign of aging but there wasn't much fruit. Dried fruit, sandalwood, dried earth. Still have 2 more bottles so hoping this was an off bottle.
October 9, 2021 - Dried plums, vanilla and cigar box with tobacco. Really smooth. The tastes evolved over a 1.5-2 hr period we enjoyed the bottle.
