  May 22, 1995 - CREAMY CITRUS AROMA AND A FLAVOR TO MATCH. ALSO SOME TROPICAL FRUIT IN THE TASTE.SIMILAR TO 5/93 TSTG (92) & BETTER THAN 11/91 (90). SHOWING BUTTERSCOTCH NOW IN THE AROMA & A LONG FINISH.

  noticeable deep color. Appears tired.
  Lacking freshness. Oak a little too present.
  rich, smooth wine with good intensity. citrus and smoky aromas.

  May 31, 1991 - With K and Miranda at home at dinner (pasta del sol). Fine straw color. Rich, brilliant. Excellent bouquet. Rich, buttery, beautifully oaked. One of the best California white wines around. This one is rich, oily, oaky. Bitter aftertaste, as the fruit has given way to a winey flavor. Good wine. 5-12-15-7: 89/100.

  November 9, 1990 - With K and Miranda at home at dinner (apple risotto). Deep golden straw color. Quite viscous. Nose shows butter, vanillin oak, coconut. On the palate, it has a wonderful flavor like buttered popcorn. Extremely attractive, pineapple and citrus fruits also in evidence. Still very youthful. Fine wine. Not as full-bodied as a good Burgundy. 5-11-17-8: 91/100.
