June 1, 2023 - Loads of black cherry along with licorice, herbs and spices. This was incredibly fresh at this stage with a wonderful acidic backbone. Excellent finish and was a crowd favorite amongst drinking alongside some cabernet.

November 12, 2022 - I bought 4 of these in 2020 and decided to pop one one for a Saturday nightcap. I poured a small glass, no food, swirled a lot. I thought, hmmm, I like it, but it’s really bold and fruit forward, reminding me of some Cali Petite Sirahs we’ve had. I opened it young, with no decant, and I felt it wasn't showing all that it could so I put the bottle in the fridge overnight. That did the trick. I served it with dinner the following day (top sirloin burgers) and after the first swirl and sniff, I was thinking, ok, now THIS is why I bought the wine. Next bottle will be with food, and after a long decant. I think this will be glorious after a few more years of cellaring.

August 3, 2021 - Decanted for about 40 mins, still too young and closure.
Bold, powerful and rough tannin, a few more years aging required for a better experience.
