August 20, 2023 - Lemon coloured with golden hue, medium(-) intensity. Developed, medium intensity nose. Typical chenin aromas with accentuated yellow fruit, quince, wax, a floral note and an impression of bitterness. On the palate a tiny sweetness, medium(+) acidity, medium(-) body. 13%. Flavours as aromas plus some yellow flowers. Starts round, finish with an acidity bite (the chenin crescendo impression). Finely textured. Very good length.
Day two and all impressions diminish with a (too) intrusive acidity. Drink now!

From 30 year old Chenin blanc vines, organically grown in sand and chalk on tuffeau at a cooler side of the Brézé hill. Indigenous yeast, fermentation in stainless steel. Blocked malo. Matured 12 months, whereof 50% in old barrels, before bottling.

March 26, 2021 - Starting to show a bit more complexity. Quince, wool, lemon peel, honey, bruised apple, and candied ginger lead to a broad and dry palate that ends with some tartness. Really tasty stuff that shows no oak and leaves lingering flavors.

October 19, 2020 - Reasonable presentation from the region, very easy to drink, paired with salmon which it did well with.

October 2, 2020 - Light golden, some residue on the surface.
On the nose yellow apple, rubber, white flowers, hint of rhubarb and wet stone.
On the palate very high acidity, a bit tart, some oiliness and perhaps a bit oak?

August 9, 2020 - I should have decanted this. It showed better with air.

July 2, 2020 - Nose quince and Lemon, leesy. Mineral. Palate reasonably balanced if a bit low in acid and richer and riper. Quince and stone fruit. A bit bigger and rounder than cooler vintages. Floral.

June 28, 2020 - Good, mid weight Chenin blanc that does not go into either tropical fruit or wet sheep dog. Instead it offers ripe fruit, soft palate, but good freshness and fine balance, with a slight saline touch to the finish, even if the overall impression is that it's a bit shy and short - like either young vines or slightly early picked grapes. Either way very nice.

We ordered one glass at Café Cuvée in Södermalm, Stockholm (great food and ambiance by the way, and affordable but ambitious cuisine by chef Marcus Löfgren) from a bottle that had been opened for a while on a spectacularly hot summer evening.

May 27, 2020 - Pleasant and a bit amorphous. Some tropical fruit and paraffin on nose. Chenin Blanc fruit and a nice back of the mouth feel to it, but indistinct.
