September 11, 2020 - Nose: The nose is deep and complex with Honeysuckle, melon, red apples, Bosc pears, white florals, green tea, herbal notes, mint, quince, nougat, vanilla. This took a bit to open up and it really benefitted from being in the decanter for 2+ hours.

Taste: The feel is Medium/full bodied with crisp, medium+ acid. The feel is deep and refined with honeysuckle, red apples, bosc pears, quince, white florals, green tea, mint, nougat, and vanilla.

Overall: This is killer stuff already. It was wound tight at first and it needed over 2 hours in a decanter to really get going. There is a lot to live here as it shows off well balanced fruits with excellent herbal and mint notes. In a perfect world, another 3-5 years would probably benefit it but it is really good right now with air.

July 19, 2020 - Nose of citrus fruit, with a hint of nuts. Lemon, peach, citrus on the palate with nice mineral streak. Bright acidity balances out the weight of the wine.
Compared to the white burg, it has a touch more weight/heft, but balanced and enjoyable. One of the best Chardonnays (along side Walter Scott Xnovo) from Oregon.

July 8, 2020 - Consistent performance. Perfectly drinkable now. I don’t see a lot of upside (not a negative). I’m not convinced this will be long lived.

May 16, 2020 - Decanted and consumed over two hours. Nose was almost non-existent. This improved a bit with air, but it didn't move that much. Flavors of lemon curd, touch of honey, ripe, but a fair amount of acidity to balance it out. Full bodied. Good mouthfeel. Moderate complexity/finish.

April 29, 2020 - Not a cheap bottle but this wine delivers. From memory. Lemon/lime and pear on the palate. Touch of wood/vanilla too. So balanced yet acid driven. Great weight and mouth watering. Had over two days and was fresh on day two (took out air and kept in fridge). Not sure if this improves over time but the drinking window is long and it just started. Delicious. 92-93.
