Community Tasting Notes 10

September 17, 2023 - Lots of red fruit and full bodied. Tannins are restrained, this beauty has aged nicely

May 29, 2023 - ripe, perky acid, very very savory, drinks above the abv in weight but not in the mouth, drinking fantastic on pnp (no improvement on day two)

only gripe is that the flavor//fruit profile seems quite meh, heavy, and one note.

  • Ewhite30 Likes this wine:

May 17, 2023 - Floral tones against brambly dark berries, cold coffee and an earthy, mushroom-like scent. Leads with flavors of late season strawberry and blackberries, dusty spring flowers, match strike, iodine, with muddled herbs through the finish. Flavors persist but the wine is pillowy soft in texture with resolved tannins and smooth edges. Held up well on the second night too.

January 15, 2023 - Beautiful ruby red color. The nose is mellow with dark fruits and dried dark flowers with earthy notes of spice, olive and herbs. Super smooth on the palate with red fruit, minerals, smoke and pepper layered with mushrooms and purple flowers. Medium acid and firm tannins lead to a pleasant finish.

  • EvanRose Likes this wine: 92 points

January 25, 2022 - A bit funky on the nose with herbal overtones and leather Modest tannins , restrained black fruit and ripe plum, medium finish. Perfect with sweet and sour baby back ribs.
