February 28, 2024 - Day 1: hard as nails. Has that pronounced Oregon perfume, a little lavender on the nose.
Black tea and cranberry, very austere

Day 2: nose gets more Burgundian but still with that Oregon bouquet. Cherries begin to emerge, tannins are a bit more drying but this could use another 5 years. Too bad as it was my last bottle.

On to the next Goodfellow wines!

November 26, 2023 - Nice Pinot flavors but pretty quiet. Red cranberry and subtle earth. Comes across slightly watery. 90

June 8, 2023 - I've had this one before I knew what to expect. This is a ringer for a very high-end red burgundy. Has a little mossy nose on it that screams old world. Red fruited but light. Very very good.

May 12, 2023 - PnP. Really rustic and tight even after an hour or two. Great bones, but not the enjoyment. Needed 4 hours air to open up and settle down and relax and show its true colors. Crushable and complex at the same time. Great fruit profile with acid and complex notes. Give it a couple more years or lots of air.

May 12, 2023 - With 90 minutes decant, this was one stunning Pinot. Everything you want is here. Aromatics, texture, acid, some nicely integrated tannin. Just wow. What a wine.
