September 10, 2021 - Unique wine. Clear, bright and golden. Funky nose of wet animal, orange peel and tropical fruit basket. The palate is chalky and textured with bracing acidity carrying a rich mixture of soft citrus and orchard fruits. Delicious.

August 6, 2020 - Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Summer tasting (Asperg): Tasted blind. Pale golden, unfiltered color. Nose with some lactice notes. Very interesting palate: Earthy, skin fermentation, very deep and spicy, medium+, well integrated acidity. Some bitter notes and some funky medicinal notes. Cool. 13% abv. Good length. 87-88
Never would have guessed Italy. My first pecorino.

April 16, 2020 - My first time with this wine and it was memorable. It was almost chewy. Like chalk chewing gum. Herbs and minerals and then only underneath was fruit more on the pitted end than citrus and maybe even a hint of pineapple, but in a good way. Salty n the palate and with a long driving finish. Maybe even some pine thrown in the mix. This held up over 4-5 days open in the fridge. Really cool and different from our go to pecorino, the Tiberio. Will be in the rotation.
