December 20, 2021 - Deepened and became much more interesting after 3 hour decant. Smooth. Not close to as good as the B Cellars version of this vineyard. Attractive pricing at Treasury sale. One of the better Provenance wines I've had -- admit they've generally underperformed across the board.

December 20, 2020 - Alcohol level is apparent at onset and fades over time. The bottle labeled at 15.6%. It is a big wine that is decadent and weighty. The backend is dominated by dark chocolate making it feel like desert. The front has darker fruits flavors. There are hints of earth and complexity. While it is not quite fully integrated yet it will be interested to see how this develops.
