July 27, 2020 - Bright ruby colored. Ripe strawberries and fresh cherries in the nose. On the palate lots of red berries, soft spices and some sandalwood. Some subtle smoky notes too. Medium bodied with a medium acidity. Beautiful firm tannin structure - this will become absolutely amazing in 6 years. Great complexity and a good depth. Finish is long and has a lot of cherries.
Beautiful but too young in the moment, wait 3-4 more years and drink it over the next 15 years. -

Austere on the nose

Med acid
Med+ alcohol
Med finish
Very interesting - very nice on the palate but not so giving on the nose. Probably not showing to its full potential. Quite a powerful pinot. -

June 5, 2020 - Spekekjøtt, hint av kirsebær, røde bær. Friskt, syrlig preg i munnen, men også fin frukt og et lite jordpreg. Rund på tross av syra. Elegant stil, særlig for tysk pinot - det er noe umiskjennelig tysk i aromaene, men munnfølelse og struktur er nesten burgundersk. Deilig vin, men overraskende kort ettersmak. Men etter noen timer med lufting kommer også ettersmaken seg og resultatet er en fortreffelig vin.
