September 15, 2020 - I was surprised at the negative reviews. Perhaps I’m not as well educated in wines, but I found this to be classic Orin Swift - bold, a bit young perhaps, but quite satisfying with a long finish.

    September 12, 2020 - Color: Light Purple
Nose: Nice and Spicy with Ple ty of Blackberry
Taste: Very Fleshy Plum overall; Lingering Flavors of Hear and some Very Juicy Plum and a Light BBQ/Sanguine Note; Quite 1-Dimensional
Comp’s: Not a Good QPR; Good 1-D wine with some Sanguine Notes

September 12, 2020 - An opaque core with a red amethyst rim, the wine opens with ripe raspberry and blackberry, dark plum preserves and hints of black pepper and clove. An entry of heft, the palate is packed with blueberry and sweet black cherry along with touch of fresh herbs—thyme, savory and tarragon. Long on the finish, the ripe tannins, a dash of ash, and notes of black tea round out the wine.

September 10, 2020 - If I was stuck in the desert for 8 years I'd be perfectly happy with this on my return for its ripe and dense black fruit... and then I'd need some actual water or wine with a backbone. Pleasant and simplistic, crowd-pleaser and polarizing. Palate fatigue before the end of my second glass. MAYBE waiting 10 years will create some balance like the Ridge '90 Lytton Springs at 10 yrs. Pass.
