March 19, 2022 - This was a superb wine that I will no seek out more of. Was very balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and acidity. Could have drank this all night long

October 13, 2021 - Unscrewed and poured. This has a medium yellow-gold in colour. Orange blossoms, ripe honeydew melons, with some honey and sweet quince on the nose. On the palate, there are stoney mineral honeyed pears with sweet mango and some figs; very good balance of fruit and acidity. Medium bodied with a medium-long finish.

September 8, 2021 - Deep gold verging on copper. Floral nose and taste is honeyed but very acidic. Like super acidic and sweet at the same time. Finish goes on a long time and melts into green apple skin and smoky saline. Really nice wine

August 19, 2021 - This is my last bottle of this wonderful dessert wine. The apricots, pineapple and honey are all there with the latter providing a delicious viscous mouth feel. This shows a little more acidity in the final sip but just plain a very excellent alternative to Sauterne albeit a tad more viscous. Loved it with blackberry pie previously and a lemoncello dessert tonight.

(Domaine des Baumard Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru) Nice lime, cream and chalk nose; big, tight, lime, lime cream, rich, honeydew melon palate, deep and focused; long finish (the screwcap was disconcerting on such a wonderfully ageworthy wine as this)
