February 25, 2024 - A sensational showing from Booker. It’s chateauneuf du pape but with a bit of heft and a smidge of pepper and ash. The alcohol is infused and hard to trace, and it finishes with an elegant resolve. A smartly-crafted gem.

August 1, 2022 - Typical of Booker this was an amazing wine. Great fruit and long finish. Didn't decant it at all.

November 2, 2021 - Balanced and smooth and quite good. Wish I had more. Near pop and pour

October 5, 2021 - Like all Booker wines this bottle was splendid. I never bother to decant Booker wines, partly because I tend to drink them young and most are Rhone blend meritage that simply don't require decanting.

April 30, 2021 - Drank over two days. Punchy blend of red and black fruit with toasted oak filling out the palate. The fruit strengthened on the second day. I think I liked this the best of the extended-age cuvees so far; I tend to prefer the shorter aging.

February 21, 2020 - Loads of strawberry, cherry, rhubarb, milk chocolate, cinnamon, five spice, silky smooth incredible balance. Very good now as a PnP, should drink well for 5 or so years.
