August 23, 2012 - Beautifully wild, this wine has plenty of sauvage to show off. Plenty of jammy fruit and spice keep this wine fun and still food friendly. Very nice.

March 15, 2011 - Pretty wine in a funky and earthy sort of way. Lots of plum and spice on the palate. Great with heavy garlic dishes. Nice.

June 12, 2009 - Deep inky crimson color. Notes of black fruit, lavender, violets and game. Medium to full bodied, with juicy acidity and loads of dark fruit that last through the finish. 89-90 pts. Drink now - 2012.

March 17, 2009 - Disappointing. Perhaps at an awkward stage, perhaps just past time, maybe just not for me. Even though this only sees oak on the Mourvedre component, you would have thought there was much more. Oaky, woodiness, with a cage of rough tannins surrounding where the fruit used to be. You could tell there was some there that used to be there, but now is gone, or at least hibernating. Oh well, you can't win 'em all.

January 30, 2008 - Dark red/purple colour. Nose is loaded with lots of garrigue and pepper over leather, cherry, dark fruits and floral notes. Medium bodied on the palate with spicy red fruits and some blueberry notes, chewy tannins and a finish that's medium length with a little warmth. Amazing value.
