Community Tasting Notes 2

April 15, 2020 - 100% Rousanne from vines planted in 2013 apparently. This is very rich, even a touch heady, perhaps clumsy. Full, rich texture, tropical fruit, orange confit and almonds. Very hard to drink due to the excessive richness. I am not sure about this one.

September 22, 2019 - 100% Roussanne. No in depth notes. Dense and full, golden yellow. Lots of honey. Also tropical fruits of various kind, banana even. The fruit is thick and pronounced, drives the wine. Almonds, almond icing, saffron. The alcohol comes through on the palate. Modest acidity. Could be that cellar time will knit this wine together but for now I find it to be unbalanced.
