April 20, 2024 - Very good. Very consistent. For $80 this is a real bargain and a very well made wine.

December 23, 2023 - Consistent notes - these are really good wines. This bottling at the higher end. More nuance and complexity. Still a baby. Loving Oregon whites right now. They are very US but trend more towards old world at a fraction of the price....

June 8, 2023 - This was drinking quite well, honestly this note is a bit late so don’t have specifics. Quite refreshing and balanced. I remember thoroughly enjoying it

December 30, 2022 - I am generally a fan of high acid, low oak American Chard, but this came across as thin and lacking a real finish to me and two others - didn’t rate on the odds that this was just an off bottle

November 22, 2022 - So I love the debate about this wine being "burgundian" which it isnt really. This is a very good American Chardonnay coming from the region in America making the best Chardonnay - Oregon. Yes, it may be closer to Burgundy than big, buttery, oaky Cali Chard buts it not Burgundy which is in no way a criticism. This wine is delicious - it has great acidity, clarity, energy and verve. Minerals, lemon, lees, moderate spice and a great texture. Its well made and thoroughly enjoyable. Further, its 1/4th the cost of a great village Burgundy. There is a ton to like about this wine and kudos to the terrior in Oregon that produces it.

July 18, 2021 - I've got to disagree with the many CT tasting notes that call this wine "great". For me, this is good, but not great.

It's a cooler climate style of Chardonnay, which is what I tend to prefer. Pours a very pale gold, very young appearing. Aromas of tart lemon, underripe stone fruits, and an oak note that I find kind of harsh. I also detect a whiff of what I think is TCA...Its better in the mouth, a nice acidity is there, again flavors of tart citrus, a bit of crushed rocks. There is a bit of creaminess, which is nice. Again though, there is a harsh oak that feels unintegrated, a bit awkward. It might integrate a bit better over time, tough to know. At this juncture, I'll give it a B.

March 5, 2021 - Very Burgundian in style. Elegant, with finesse. Complex, soil/terroir, minerals, slightly smoky, with a citrus note. Low sugar. Will benefit from a few years. (TCWC tasting.)
