  July 21, 2023 - On the nose: Darker berry notes, some stewed fruit notes, red berries. Secondary notes of spice and wood.
  
  On the tongue: medium-medium plus acidity. Great length, tannins very minimal.
  
  Lovely wine and will keep coming back to metras.

  December 22, 2022 - Mulig det var fordi det var litt sent på kvelden? Men plutselig virker det som at denne har gått fra å være litt grov og rustikk til å bli helt fløyel. Veldig god var den! Drukket backstage med Sunturns på Parkteatret.

  February 6, 2022 - This bottle made it to the top of my 'for the chop' list after I read a note from William Kelley recently suggesting it was quite vulnerable to spoilage. I can see why, as it's definitely very low-intervention in style, with a touch of Brett and a definite cideryness. That aside, the wine was pretty nice underneath all of that, with some flowers and lots of juicy red-fruited acidity. The finish had persistence and astringency as well as a touch of the mousiness that WK noted. Don't see this becoming a repeat purchase.

  November 27, 2021 - You can sense the ripeness of the vintage, but this is still so under control and elegant. This bottle is completely clean. Has improved since my last bottle a year ago.
