August 19, 2022 - Golden. A bit tropical, yellow apples, beeswax. Creamy, fresh, pure, a bit spicy. Enjoyable.

February 6, 2022 - Dark yellow color. Very perfumed with scents of tangerines and candied oranges. The same flavors repeat on the palate, really rich in flavor, quite an oxidative style with some botrytis too, but totally dry. Seems quite evolved, something I have noticed in several recent vintages of Schloss Gobelsburg - though mainly with recent Grüner Veltliner wines. A bit hollow and more mineral on mid palate, then finishes on acidic lemon drops. Not my favorite style of Riesling - I prefer the Gaisberg and Heiligenstein wines - but my wife very much enjoyed it. - 89 points
